DAY 1 : ARRIVAL IN VIENNA
Welcome to Vienna! On arrival at the airport, after passport control and collecting your luggage, you will meet with your tour manager. Transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring the neighbourhood and relaxing after the long flight.
DAY 2 : VIENNA
Today you will discover magnificent Vienna! Enjoy a city tour along the famous Ringstrasse, possibly the most beautiful boulevard in the world, and see the most important tourist attractions in the Austrian capital. The sightseeing tour starts at Südtiroler Platz and takes you along the Ringstrasse, where you will see many of the popular tourist draws. First take a look at the impressive Vienna State Opera, one of the most acclaimed opera houses in the world and home to the famous "Opera Ball" which takes place every year. Next you will see the monumental buildings of the Museums of Fine Art and Natural History, the neo-classical Parliament, the acclaimed Burgtheater and the striking City Hall, where the legendary Life Ball takes place. The tour ends in the afternoon which leaves the rest of the day free for you to do a little exploration on your own.
DAY 3 : BRATISLAVA
Today you will travel to the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava. One of the smallest European capitals, Bratislava makes up for its size with its warmth and hospitality. Your city tour presents you the whole Bratislava, not just the historical districts with a combination of walking and driving. Walk to Michalska Gate, the Main Square, Old Town Hall and the Primatial Palace, a stunning classical building, Reduta and the Cathedral of St. Martin. Continue by car and see the Presidential Palace, the Bratislava Castle and the Slovak Parliament. With a packed lunch you will transfer to Budapest in Hungary.
DAY 4 : BUDAPEST
After breakfast at the hotel in Budapest head out for a guided tour of the charming Hungarian capital. During your city tour see the most visited sites in Pest; Heroes' Square, Vajdahunyad Castle, Andrassy Boulevard, visit the largest Cathedral of Budapest - St Stephen's Basilica. In Buda, on the opposite bank of the Danube, see the Buda Castle, the Fisherman's Bastion, built in honour of the 1000 th birthday of the Hungarian State, Matthias Church, the Royal Palace and Gellert Hill. Enjoy a leisurely lunch and spend the rest of the day exploring one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
DAY 5 : PRAGUE
Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast in the hotel before checking out and departing for Prague, capital of the Czech Republic and famed for its medieval architecture, narrow cobbled streets and charming, al fresco cafes.
DAY 6 : PRAGUE
Begin the day with a guided tour of Prague, a romantic city that dates back to antiquity. Your tour will take you to Prague Castle, seat of Czech kings and now the home of the president of the Czech Republic, the Gothic Saint Vitus Cathedral and the Royal Palace from where you can admire the panorama of Prague. The half day tour gives you the afternoon free to wander about the ancient streets and breathe in this incredible city.
DAY 7 : VIENNA
Today you will have the pleasure of seeing Cesky Krumlov, a Bohemian town and UNESCO World Heritage Site. A three hour drive from Prague, Cesky Krumlov is known for its imposing castle located in the centre of the town. Your walking tour will take you past many of the 300 well-preserved local historical houses and the Cesky Krumlov Castle, the second largest in the Czech Republic after Prague Castle. Head back to Vienna after your detour and check into your hotel.
DAY 8 : DEPARTURE FROM BUDAPEST
Enjoy breakfast in lovely Vienna before heading to the airport for your flight back home.
